説明
ソテツのような黒茶色の幹に、直立性の草のような長い葉が吹き出すように出て、しだいにアーチ状になる姿が美しい植物です。
耐寒性も強く-12℃程度。
中程度の霜に耐えられるが長期にわたる湿気と寒さに弱い。
日当たりの場所が好みますので、水はけの良い土でよく育つ。メキシコ原産。
